SANTRY SHIELD
Discovered inside a Victorian property within the New York State, ‘Shield’ is an incredible example of the heraldic designs that were popular in this era of design revival. The history of the use of heraldry goes back to the 1100’s when Knights first started using symbols to identify themselves and is continued throughout design history as a proud statement celebrating heritage and identity.

The paper is hand painted and the colours are mixed by hand and matched by eye which means the batches do vary slightly.
